Alison Hills

Apprenticeship Compliance and Finance Lead

Alison brings a wealth of experience from both the private and government sectors, particularly in the community healthcare field, including the Child Protection Team. Before joining TLE in 2019, Alison served as the PA to the Head of Nursing, where she honed her organisational and management skills.

In her current role, Alison ensures that all apprenticeship quality data is accurate, timely and compliant. She plays a crucial role in managing compliance with ESFA contract funding rules, implementing best practices across relevant processes to continually improve and enhance TLE’s apprenticeship provision. Her meticulous attention to detail and proactive approach were integral to the success of TLE’s apprenticeship Ofsted inspection, where she was a key coordinator, organising critical meetings and interviews with learners and employers.

She is committed to her professional development, having completed a Higher Apprenticeship in Leadership and Management and has also completed both a Business Administration and Customer Services Apprenticeship at Level 3. She regularly updates her skills and knowledge through continuous professional development (CPD), engaging with Further Education networks, and attending relevant seminars and webinars.

Beyond her role at TLE, Alison demonstrated her leadership and operational expertise during the Covid-19 pandemic by working weekends as the Operations Manager at a vaccination centre. She played a vital role in the smooth execution of the vaccination rollout, which saw over 1 million people in Guildford, Waverley, and surrounding areas receive their Covid vaccinations.

Her dedication to excellence and her ability to navigate complex compliance landscapes make her a vital asset to the TLE team.
