Apprenticeships Lead
Ashley Fletcher, our Apprenticeship Lead, brings over 10 years of human resources as well as learning and development experience across various sectors. Her early HR and L&D roles encompassed performance management, recruitment, employee relations, leadership training, and health and wellbeing.
In the last four years, she has specialised in apprenticeships, focusing on both early careers and professional development. In her previous role, she pioneered the company’s first apprenticeship programme, managing over 30 degree-level apprentices in digital and tech. Her role was pivotal in supporting students and managers while bridging the gap between the business and learning providers.
Ashley also managed internal apprenticeships, leveraging the government apprenticeship levy to develop and upskill colleagues. This involved maintaining robust relationships with up to 40 learning providers to ensure program success. She is a steadfast advocate for personal and professional development, actively promoting apprenticeship opportunities internally and at local colleges and careers fairs.
Her commitment to lifelong learning is demonstrated by her completion of CIPD Level 5 in 2018 and a Diploma in Project Management in 2021, equipping her with the insight to effectively support learners and their managers.
In her role, Ashley aims to drive workforce development through strategic apprenticeship programmes. She seeks to identify and implement opportunities that not only enhance individual career growth but also address the critical skills needs of the healthcare sector, she is dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous learning and development, ensuring that both individuals and the organisation thrive.
