Rebecca Slinger

Rebecca has worked in the Learning and Skills sector for over 15 years.  Starting as a Recruitment Officer and Trainer for the local authority, moving into Team Leader, Programme Management, Business Development and Apprenticeship Management Roles. Following this, Rebecca then began work in Apprenticeships within the HE Sector as an Assessor for the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship Programme.  Throughout this time, she supported over 1500 Apprentices to complete their journey and went onto manage a large team of Assessors across Digital and Engineering and Policing Apprenticeships. In this role Rebecca successfully led her team to achieve Apprenticeship Provider of the Year for Protected Services and National Pastoral Care Award for Team of the Year.

Rebecca’s passion lies in Work Based Learning and Apprenticeships, widening participation and providing learners with skills to really develop their career pathway. Rebecca has recently completed her CMDA in Professional Management and will shortly obtain Chartered Management Degree Status.
