Apprenticeship Assessor
Simon has worked in Health & Social Care for the past 23 years, across multiple services including Emergency, Surgical, Specialist Medicine and Community. However, he started his career working in a Nursing Home and developed his core skills from the basics, that were embedded into his practice during this first role. Simon completed his assessor and teaching qualifications after becoming an in-house NHS Teaching Assessor.
Simon has worked in political campaign management and organising, which further developed his communication and volunteer management skills. He was also elected as a local councillor allowing him to support and advocate for residents in need. At the same time, he maintained his skills with NHS Professionals and worked during the Covid Pandemic in frontline service.
Simon hopes to bring knowledge and experience to all the apprentices he supports and to inspire them with their future goals and aspirations.
Simon is proud to have supported all his apprentices in his current role to achieve a Distinction mark on completion.
