Presented by a range of subject matter experts and guest speakers you can be confident you’ll be given all the tools you need to develop your leadership skills and completed the required assessments.
Progression:
After successfully completing an Operations/Departmental Manager apprenticeship, you will be awarded the ILM Level 5 Diploma for Leaders. This qualification enhances your employability, and you could even consider moving on to study the Level 6 Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship, and potentially the Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship.

They are accountable to a more senior manager or business owner. Working in the private, public or third sector and in all sizes of organisation, specific responsibilities and job titles will vary, but the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed will be the same. Key responsibilities may include creating and delivering operational plans, managing projects, leading and managing teams, managing change, financial and resource management, talent management, coaching and mentoring.
The Operations Manager course is ideal for professionals who manage teams or projects and are responsible for achieving operational or departmental goals and objectives as part of their organisation’s strategy. Roles may include: operations manager, regional manager, divisional manager, department manager and specialist managers.
As well as on programme assessments there will be an end-point assessment (EPA) which will be carried out by an external independent assessor. Each component of end-point assessment is graded with an overall grade and given a fail, pass or distinction.

The Lead Adult Care Worker apprenticeship is ideally suited for experienced colleagues who are frontline staff who help adults with care and support needs to achieve their personal goals and live as independently and safely as possible, enabling them to have control and choice in their lives. In addition, Lead Adult Care Workers have responsibility for providing supervision, frontline leadership, guidance and direction for others, or working autonomously, exercising judgement and
accountability.
Leaders in Adult Care may work in residential or nursing homes, domiciliary care, community day centres, a person’s own home or some clinical healthcare settings. The role of Leader in Adult Care in this standard also covers Personal Assistants who operate in a management role but they may only work directly for one individual who needs support and/or care services.
