The aim of this learning is to examine the importance of making safeguarding personal and examine what can be done to minimise the risk of abuse and neglect. The learning will define the role of the individual in safeguarding adults and the role of the Local Authority including examining the purpose of a Section 42 enquiry. The learning also explores relevant legislation linked to safeguarding adults.
