Aims:

To provide an introduction to clinical supervision and give the learner the underpinning knowledge and skills to provide or support clinical supervision in their area of work.

Outcomes:

  • Have an understanding of the body’s response to stress and how stress can affect our work and wellbeing
  • Describe clinical supervision, its benefits for the colleague and the organisation
  • Be able to describe models of supervision and how these models support the workforce with different approaches
  • Be able to discuss the types of supervision session, the use of reflective models and how they support effective supervision
  • How Supervision will adapt to the use of technology and remote working
