| Delivery method | This learning is delivered through a virtual classroom. In addition to the virtual classroom session, three one hour work place visits to have supervised practice, assessment and competency completion will be required. |

| Materials and resources required | Learners should have access to a computer with an internet connection and Microsoft Teams. |

The aim of this learning is to develop the learners ability to confidently carry out safe practice of feeding via a gastrostomy device as detailed in the workbook and competency document by demonstrating knowledge and understanding of the theory underpinning practice.
