The aim of this learning is to provide an opportunity to explore self-neglect and how to navigate self-neglect cases, briefly examine female genital mutilation and the role we have in reporting known cases.
This learning will examine the Prevent Strategy and why an individual may become radicalised, along with who is most at risk of exploitation. In addition the learning will explore the role the Care Act 2014 has in safeguarding adults, and the importance of Safeguarding Adults Reviews. The learning will identify how to share or report a safeguarding concern and the rules to follow when sharing information.
