The aim of this learning is to support learners to foster more inclusive practices within the workplace.

Learners will be able to:

  • Explain what inclusion is, including the Fundamental British Values & the nine protected characteristics
  • Develop an environment where all colleagues have equal access to opportunities and resources and can fully contribute to the organisation’s success
  • Demonstrate inclusive behaviour by providing examples
  • Understand unconscious bias and be able to reflect on how their own biases can contribute to unintended discrimination
  • Take feedback on their behaviour, regardless of whether this is conscious or unconscious, and to learn how to rectify unsuitable behaviours
